About Pilates with Ayana

Movement has been part of my life long before it became my profession. I grew up in my body — as an athlete, (competitive cheerleading and gymnastics), a mover, and someone deeply aware of how movement shapes the way we move through daily life. Over time, I learned that the way we move is never just physical. It’s emotional. It’s mental. It’s how we show up in our lives.

My path to Pilates wasn’t about a love of group fitness. It was about practicing something precise, intelligent, and honest. I trained in the classical Pilates method with Equinox because I believe foundations matter. When movement is rushed or overperformed, people lose trust in their bodies. When it’s taught with clarity and care, strength builds naturally, posture changes, and confidence follows.

Pilates with Ayana is rooted in classical technique, taught at a thoughtful pace, with an emphasis on precision over intensity. I work primarily with beginners and returning movers who want to feel strong, steady, and capable without being overwhelmed. It’s not about exhaustion or spectacle. It’s about learning how to move well — and carrying that clarity into everyday life.

My goal is to build a practice that supports longevity — in the body, in teaching, and in community. I offer classical mat Pilates through private sessions, small group classes, and beginner-focused programming, with growth approached intentionally and without urgency. This space is for people who want to slow down, build strong foundations, and develop a more trusting relationship with their bodies.

If you’re here because you’re curious, unsure, or simply ready to begin — I welcome you warmly.
